We cozied up with our spoons and served each other the really important questions - like what’s your ultimate lazy-girl dinner, and is using baby wipes to clean your kitchen bench… innovative or concerning? (one of us says genius.)

Q: Who’s the better cook?
Carissa: I mean… I'm qualified
Tayla: Definitely Carissa - my cooking style gives people anxiety
Q: What's your go-to dinner when you can’t be bothered?
Carissa: Pasta. Always
Tayla: I could eat a greek salad any day
Q: Most-used ingredient in your kitchen?
Carissa: Garlic - in astronomic amounts
Tayla: SALT!
Q: What's the weirdest thing you’ve done while cooking?
Carissa: Accidentally cut my finger so badly, that I needed stitches - weird because you'd think I'd be good at it
Tayla: Breastfeed lmfao motherhood is interesting
Q: Favourite soup?
Carissa: Chicken and leek
Tayla: Pumpkin soup with lots and lots of sourdough bread!
Q: Kitchen tool you can’t live without?
Carissa: My chef’s knife
Tayla: Air fryer
Q: Best cooking hack you’ve discovered?
Carissa: Smash avocado through a cooling rack to make guac!
Tayla: Making homemade pasta so that you have no choice but to use leftover egg whites for a pavlova ;)
Q: Describe each other in three food items.
Carissa about Tayla: Garlic, greek salad and "summer fruits only"
Tayla about Carissa: Chocolate, corn (ew) and mortadella
Q: Who causes more chaos in the kitchen?
Carissa: Me, I'm SO clumsy, I question who let me in a kitchen allllll the time
Tayla: Me, I leave a trail of destruction
Q: Secret talent no one knows about (not food related)?
Carissa: Photography... and dancing (joking about the dancing)
Tayla: Flair cocktail making!
Q: What’s your shared food philosophy?
Both: Real food, fast.
Carissa: Restaurant quality food that tastes AMAZING
Tayla: That literally ANYONE can make.
